Richard L. “Dick” Campbell age 71 of Salem, NH, died Thursday, Feb. 13th at the Holy
Family Hospital, Methuen, MA.
He was born in Marlboro, MA, where he grew up and attended school. Dick graduated
with a master’s degree in History and Government from UMass Amherst. He was a
resident of Salem for the past 44 years.
Dick was a Life Insurance Agent for many years and before retirement he worked as a
Rural Postal carrier for the Windham, NH Post Office. He enjoyed gardening, reading
and following the local Boston sports teams. After retirement he enjoyed following his
grandchildren's sports and school achievements.
He is survived by his wife: Maureen (O’Donnell) Campbell of Salem, NH
Daughter: Theresa and her husband David Steele of Salem, NH
Sons: Richard Campbell and his fiancee, Sherri Bonetti, of St. Johns, FL
Christopher Campbell of Salem, NH
Matthew and his wife, Aimee Campbell, of Salem, NH
9 Grandchildren that he loved dearly:
Christoper Jr , Jennifer, Meghan, Katie, Nathan, Mackenzie, Molly, Mason and Derek.
Funeral services will be private for the family. There are no calling hours.
