Obituary

Auburn – Leo J. Beaudry, 89, of Auburn, died in his home on Saturday, February 15th after an illness.

Leo is survived by his wife of 64 years, Doris E. (Ethier) Beaudry; two sons, Robert Beaudry and his wife Kathryn of South Grafton, and Paul Beaudry and his wife Cynthia of Brookfield; 3 brothers, Roland Beaudry of Oxford, Edward Beaudry of Worcester and Louis Beaudry of Brookfield; a sister, Theresa Auger of Worcester, a sister in law, Rita Beaudry of Paxton; a brother in law, Eugene Ethier of Millbury; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Mr. Beaudry was born in Manchester, NH son of the late Henry and Mary (Routhier) Beaudry.

Leo is a World War II veteran and served in the United States Army. He worked as an electrician at the former Rexnord Co. and previously worked at the Crompton Knowles Company.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20th at 12 Noon in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be held from 11 to 12 before the funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
