Malcolm Eugene Burke, 64, of Water Valley, died Friday, October 1, 2004, at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS.
Visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Sunday, October 3, 2004. The Funeral Service will be at Seven Oaks Funeral Home at 2:00 pm Monday, October 4, 2004, with Reverend Dan Dickerson officiating. The interment will be at Pine Flat Cemetery in Lafayette County.
Burke was a self-employed carpenter and was a member of O'Tuckolofa Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Mr. Burke served in the United States Army during the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
He was the son the the late Wilburn Burke and the surviving Irene Tidwell Burke.
He is also survived by his wife Frances Dunn Burke; one daughter, Linda Burke Crowder of Oxford; three sons, Jerry Burke, Larry Burke, and Terry Burke all of Water Valley; one sister, Ethel Burke Cook of Water Valley; and eleven grandchildren.
