Ermanno ("Manduccio") Perella was born in Castel Del Giudice, Italy, the son of the late Francesco and Emilia (Mossesso) Perella. Ermanno was devoted to his family and worked hard to give them all he could. He enjoyed watching soccer, eating good food
and spending time with his family and friends. He was a loyal friend to many and always enjoyed the company of his extended family.
The beloved husband of Ilia (Cenci) Perella, Ermanno was the devoted father of Frank Perella of San Diego and Rosana Perella of Tewksbury. He was the proud father-in-law
of Adua Perella and Christopher Previte, whom he treated as his children. He was the loving grandfather of Marco Perella, Marisa Perella and Madison Previte. He was the great grandfather of Kyleigh and Kassidy Perella. He was a dear brother to the late Dovilio Perella and his wife Aida of Medford, Antonio and his wife Ioletta Perella of Italy, Donato and his late wife Emilia Perella of Argentina, Domenico Perella of Italy, the late Ascenzina Mossesso and her husband Antonio of Italy. He was an adored brother-in-law of Domenico Cenci, Gilda Perella, Maria Martella, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A special acknowledgment to his nephew Frank Perella and his family of Saugus, his niece Emily Blaney and her family of Tewksbury, his niece Joanne Valente and her family of Tewksbury, his niece Adele Scaramuzzo and her family of Wakefield, his niece Phyllis Contestabile and her family of Weymouth.
Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, February 18th from 4 thru 8 PM and again Wednesday morning at 10:30 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St., Arlington, at 11:30. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
