Obituary

Michael D. Cousineau, 40, of Worcester died Friday, February 14th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. He leaves his daughter, Sarah Cousineau of Foxbourough; his fiancée, Christine Duggan with whom he lived; his father, David Cousineau of Webster; his mother, Vickie (Martin) Cousineau of Worcester; a sister, Melanie Merchant and her husband, Sam of Auburn and a niece Brooke.
He was born in Worcester and was the facilities manager for over 20 years at the Small Business Service Bureau and most recently at the Worcester Lodge of Elks #243. Michael was an avid sports fan he especially enjoyed the New England Patriots. He was an accomplished carpenter and was a member at the Worcester Lodge of Elks #243 for the last 8 years.
A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 18th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a service to follow at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, gifts in memory of Michael may be made to the University of Massachusetts Memorial Foundation in support of arthritis research.
