Genevieve M. Marolda, of Arlington passed away peacefully on February 14th, following a lengthy period of declining health. She was 92. Jennie, as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was the beloved wife of the late Pasquale F. Marolda. Born in Arlington she was the daughter of the late Michael and Rosina (Aurielio) Roberto.
Jennie was raised and educated in Arlington where she lived her entire life. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family and doting over her grandchildren. Along with her devotion to her family, Jennie was also a very dedicated and passionate professional. She worked for nearly sixty years as an associate of the Harold Berk & Assoc, Dental Practice in Brookline. She worked along side with the founder and friend, Dr. Harold Beak DDS and tirelessly served the dental profession.
Jennie is survived by her devoted son; Michael A. Marolda Sr. and his wife Therese of Woburn. She was the loving grandmother of Stacey A. Pagos and her husband Tom of So. Boston, and Michael A. Marolda Jr. and his fiancée Kimberly Tindell of Brighton. She was the loving great grandmother to Tatum and Chase Pagos. Cherished sister of Mary LaPuma of Arlington, the late Camilla Luongo, Samuel, Joseph, Samuel N., Anthony, Milio and Victor Roberto. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday, February 18th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Agnes Church, 30 Medford St., Arlington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
