Obituary

Laurabelle F. (Deragon) Brouillard, 96, formerly of Adams St., died Monday, February 10, in The Ballou Home. She was the wife of the late Edgar P. Brouillard. She was born in Milford, MA, a daughter of the late Alfred and Christina (Chevrette) Deragon.

Mrs. Brouillard was a textile worker for the Alsace and Riverside Worsted companies, and also worked for ACS Industries before retiring in 1965. She enjoyed swimming in her youth. She greatly enjoyed motherhood, and was very talented at tatting and sewing.

She is survived by seven children; Robert Brouillard of Harrisville, Edgar Brouillard Jr of Woonsocket, Laurette Plouffe of Blackstone, Aileen Marcil of Blackstone, Pauline Davignon of Norton, Denise Durand of Cape Coral, FL, and Irene Martin of AZ, fifteen grandchildren, and seventeen great -grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late Sandra Brouillard, and sister of the late Alfred Deragon, and Rita Comastra.

Her funeral with visitation will be held Tuesday at 9:00AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St, Woonsocket. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00AM in All Saints Church, Rathbun Street, Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Precious Blood Cemetery.
