Passed away peacefully on February 10, 2014
She was 74 years young. Bev is survived by her children: Michael (Kim) Sachi, Karen Sachi, Stephanie Engels and LeighAnne Sachi; her grandsons Ryan & Reid Paczkowski; by her sister Doris (Kirby) Posthuma and brother Mark (Mary) Hayden; her husband, Wayne; nephews and cousins. She graduated from the U of M and was an active member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Bev was the glue that held her family together. She was a stay-at-home mom for her children and later worked and volunteered for many years at ISD 622. After her retirement she volunteered many hours at Centennial schools, helping kids get their GED and teaching older adults in Adult Basic Education classes. Bev made friends where ever she went. She loved people. Bev was very talented and creative. She loved to sing and dance, tap and clogging, and play her guitar. She would quickly write songs for birthdays and parties. She recently joined the sign worship group at St. Timothy's church. She is beloved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial Mass Wednesday (3/19) at 10:30 AM at CHURCH OF ST. TIMOTHY, 707-89th Avenue NE, Blaine. Visitation Tuesday from 4-7:00 PM at SANDBERG FUNERAL HOME, 2593 E. 7th Avenue, North St. Paul and one hour before the Mass at church on Wed. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to your favorite charity.
