David Mann, 53, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held 4PM, Friday, February 14, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Robert Couey officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until the service hour at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Mann was born March 5, 1960, in Athens, to E. W. “Billy” Mann of Ocilla and the late Rosalind Ann Steed Mann. He graduated from Fitzgerald High School in 1978 and attended the University of Georgia. He was a salesman at Rainbow Manufacturing Company in Fitzgerald and enjoyed the outdoors. Mr. Mann was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his daughter: Megan Mann of Jacksonville, Florida; father: E. W. “Billy” Mann of Ocilla; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Terry & Karen Mann of Tifton, Chris & Melody Mann of Ocilla and Jamie & Julie V. Mann of Albany. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother: Joey Mann.
