Judith M. (Tavares) Moniz, age 72 of Fall River, passed away on Feb. 8, 2014 at St. Anne’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Robert Moniz and the daughter of the late John and Alice (Arruda) Tavares. Prior to retiring, Judith worked at Catholic Memorial Home as a Nurses Aid. She was a member of the “Growing Up In Fall River” group and enjoyed trips to the Casinos in Foxwoods and Twin Rivers.
In addition to her husband. She is survived by her 2 sons: David Moniz of Seekonk and John J. Moniz (wife Cheryl) of Fall River; a sister: Barbara Stone of Fall River; grandchildren: John R. Moniz, Keith Raposo,
Kylie A. Moniz, Brady Moniz, and Wes Moniz; a great grandchild: Khaiya Raposo; and several nieces & nephews.
