METHUEN – David O. Bell, 80 of Methuen passed away Monday February 10, 2014 at Holy Family Hospital.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, he was the son of Roy and Anna (Rafferty) Bell. He was a graduate of Central Catholic High School with the Class of 1951 and received his degree in Chemistry from Merrimack College. David served in the U.S. Army, received the Good Conduct medal and was honorably discharged from service. For more than 30 years, D
avid was a Chemist with Skinner Sherman Labs and Thermo Electron.
David was a devoted husband, father and grampy.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Annalee (Scandura) Bell of Methuen, MA. David also leaves his 2 daughters, Cathy Sallese of Methuen, MA and Patty Hughes of Lowell, MA.
Grandchildren, Steven Sallese, Jr., Nicole Sallese both of Methuen, MA and Kelsey Hughes of Lowell, MA.
David also is survived by his extended family, Sarah and Fouad Dagher and their children Adelle, Brendan and Andrew.
David was also the father of the late Kevin Bell.
