Mrs. Patricia L. (Oien) Pettini, a resident of Andover, Massachusetts and beloved wife of Donald J. Pettini, died at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston on Saturday morning, February 8, 2014. She was 50 years old.
Born in Norwood, Massachusetts on December 13, 1963, she was the beloved daughter of James W. Oien and the late Emilie E. (Brown) Buckley. She also the beloved step-daughter of Louis Buckley of Guilford, CT. Patricia was a graduate of the Peter Bent Brigham School of Nursing in Boston and was employed as a Registered Nurse. She worked for Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston, Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, CA, and Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA. In her spare time she loved photography and took photographs for her children's swim teams, both at the Andover High School and Phoenix Swimming in Haverhill. Above all, Patricia was a very devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister. She will be very dearly missed.
Pat is lovingly survived by her husband Don and her three children; Nicholas, of Hyannis, MA, Melissa, of Puyallup, WA and Kristin, of Andover, siblings; James M. Oien, of North Stonington, CT, Elizabeth Buckley and her husband Kevin McComiskey, of Andover and Dr. Suzanne and her husband Dr. Brian Evans, of Guilford, CT, mother-in-law; Betty Pettini, of Mystic, CT and her nephew and nieces, Grant and Lily Evans, Ciara McComiskey, Melaney and Zachary Pettini, and DJ and Taryn Ferraro. She was also the loving daughter-in-law of the late Donald J. Pettini, Sr.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Michael Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover, on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 1pm. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours have been omitted. Interment will be private.
