Madeleine A. (Boisvert) Chenard, 95, formerly of Worcester, died Saturday, February 8th in Millbury Healthcare Center. Her husband of 72 years, Conrad L. Chenard, died in 2012. She leaves three daughters, Suzanne M. Reynolds and Rachel M. Belanger of Worcester, and Constance L. Newman and her husband Carl, of Port St. Lucie, FL; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle E. Chenard, in 1958, and a sister, Florence Janson.
She was born in Biddeford, ME, the daughter of Eugene and Edna (Gonneville) Boisvert. She and her husband owned and operated the former Chenard Machine Company.
Her funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, P.O. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02884. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is assisting with arrangements.
