Theola D. Hall, 94, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Sunday, October 17, 2004, at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 20, 2004, at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel, Fitzgerald, with Elder Elliotte Tucker and Elder Jimmy Beddingfield officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hall was born April 3, 1910, in Ben Hill County, Georgia. She was the third of seven children, born to the late Robert Riley and Katherine (Katie) McMillan Dorminey. Mrs. Hall was a lifelong resident of Ben Hill County and a graduate of Ashton School in the late 1920’s. On April 13, 1930, she married Instent Willis “Big Boy” Hall and they were married until his death on July 16, 1969. Mrs. Hall was a homemaker, a former employee of The Monarch Company and a former seamstress at William’s Drapery Shop. She was the oldest member of Sturgeon Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Mrs. Hall is survived by her sons: Ralph L. Hall, Savannah, GA and W. Raymond Hall, Macon, GA; three grandchildren: Jean O’Dillon, Julie Hall and Lamar Hall; five great-grandchildren: Matthew O’Dillon, Michael O’Dillon, Jr., Catherine Elizabeth Hall, William Martin Hall and Jonathan Hall.
