David Lee Smith, 59, of Morven, formerly of Tifton, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014, at his residence. Private services and burial will be held at a later date.
Mr. Smith was born on September 29, 1954 in Tift County and was the son of Joe W. Smith, Sr. and Betty Corn Smith, both deceased. He was self-employed in lawn maintenance and was a former employee at J. P. Stevens.
Mr. Smith is survived by one brother, Joe W. Smith, Jr. of New York and several cousins, including Linda Hartley of Tifton.
