Funeral Services for Mrs. Lossie P. Freeman, 82 of Ashburn will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Amboy Baptist Church in Turner Co. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Ashburn. Mrs. Freeman passed away Sunday, October 17, 2004 at Tift Regional Hospital following an extended illness.
A native and life time resident of Turner Co., she was the daughter of the late Henry W. and Ida Haralson Pitts. A member of the Amboy Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband James Wallace Freeman on May 12, 1977, a daughter Carolyn Freeman Goble on Sept. 19, 1965 and a brother and a sister.
Survivors include her children, Donald Freeman, Cordele; Jimmy Freeman and Ricky Freeman both of Ashburn; Virginia Freeman Wise, Ashburn; Kay Freeman Hasty, Tifton; Kathy Freeman Moss, Ocala, Fla. Her brothers, J. C. Pitts, Portal, Ga. and Harold Pitts, Savannah, Ga.; her sisters, Cleo Fowler, Cordele and Opal Jennings, Warner Robins, Ga.Eight Grandchildren and 10 Great-Grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 till 8 at Perry Funeral Chapel.
