New Bedford – Mary Misiolek, age 95 formerly of Dartmouth, passed away on Saturday February 1, 2014 at Hathaway Manor Extended Living after a wonderful life. She was the widow of Frank J. Misiolek and the daughter Felisbina (Furtado) and Joseph Pacheco.
She was born in Stonington, Ct, spent most of her life in this area and worked as a Venetian Blind Constructor at Rodney Metals for many years before her retirement.
Her family includes her 4 children: Judith Mullis, Paula Pereira, Pauline Ferreira and her husband, Arthur, and Michael C. Misiolek, all of Dartmouth; 5 grandchildren: Susan Cadieux and her husband, William, of Dartmouth, Cindy Bourgeois and her husband, Chris, of Maine, Barbara Penn of Texas, Robert Ferreira and his wife, Dana, of Taunton and the late Steven Pereira; a sister, Dorothy “Dotty” Findeisen of Rhode Island; as well as 13 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased 2 sisters and 3 brothers.
Arrangements are private and placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
