Obituary

LACONIA ---- Norman H. Sedgley, Sr.,94, of 103 Blueberry Lane, Laconia, died peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 of natural causes. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on May 27, 1919, the youngest of three children, to William and Emma (Bjurvold) Sedgley. He married his wife, Luella (Mulvey) Sedgley, who passed away in 1961.
He was a World War II veteran serving with the US Army Air Corps. He was a long time salesman retiring in 1992 when he moved to New Hampshire. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and Shriner who loved his role of making children happy as a Shriner’s clown.
He is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Norman and Karen of Belmont, Robert and Michele of Laconia, and Charles of Little Compton, RI, along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
There will be no calling hours.
A Memorial Service is planned for 2p.m. on Saturday May 17, 2014 at the Loudon, N.H Family Bible Church, 676 Loudon Ridge Road, Loudon, N.H. 03246.
