James E. Cash, 78, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday January 29, 2014 in Parkland Medical Center of Derry. He was born in Johnston, RI on January 22, 1936, the son of the late Winston and Myrtle (Brown) Cash. James had been a resident of Derry since 1970, formerly living in New Bedford, MA. James had been employed as a banker for Commercial Bank & Trust of Burlington, MA, and had retired from Oxford Health Plans in Hooksett, NH. James was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandra (Costa) Cash of Manchester; three daughters, Kathleen Greenleaf and her husband William of Deerfield, NH, Patricia Cash and her partner Suzanne Kinder of Candia, NH and Kimberly Cotyk and her husband Michael of N. Canton, OH; three grandchildren, Jillian Greenleaf, Jonathan Minney and Alexander Minney.
There will be no calling hours. A private burial will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry6 is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the NH Food Bank, 700 East Industrial Park Drive, Manchester, NH 03109.
