John "Yash" Walter Stefanski, music lover and fishing enthusiast, passed away on 1/22/14. John appreciated a weed-free garden, half-sour pickles and admiring his property from the porch of his childhood home.Remaining loved ones include his daughter Kara Miller and husband James-their children Maggie and Theodore; son Luke and wife Chelsea Stefanski-their son Aiden; and son Mark and wife Mayra Stefanski.His surviving brothers Gerald and Paul Stefanski share numerous fond (and crazy!) memories with John. He is predeceased by his mother Antoinette Balukonis in 1980 and father Theodore Stefanski in 1999.His girlfriend, Joan Going, was a treasured partner for the last 18 years. They enjoyed trips to Beaver Tail Light and quiet moments on John's porch during thunderstorms.John had an ongoing love/hate relationship with his 1972 Triumph Tiger 650 motorcycle. He abhorred the squirrels that ransacked his bird feeders. Most modern technology vexed him, so he lived "old school."
