Philip Ball, 78, of Nashville, Tennessee died Friday, January 17, 2014, at Springhill Rehabilitation Center in Nashville, Tennessee. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, 2014, at Union Grove Church of God in Eldorado. Rev. Joseph L. Crumley will officiate with burial to follow.
Mr. Ball was born on June 10, 1935 in Eldorado and was the son of Rev. James and Grayce Ball, both deceased. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean War. He loved airplanes.
Mr. Ball is survived by two sons, Phillip M. Ball and James Lee Ball; one daughter, Tammy Ernest; three sisters, Rachel Ball Gordon, Sharon Ball Morris and Janie Ball Adams; and six grandchildren.
