Worcester – Gertrude M. (Laliberte) Belanger, 83, of Worcester, died on Monday, January 27th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus.
Trudy was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Paul and Albertine (David) Laliberte. She is survived by a son, Shawn Belanger of Worcester; two daughters, Kim Belanger of Worcester and Robin Huckeba of North Carolina; a sister, Alice Leahy of Worcester; 3 brothers; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren, many nephews and nieces and best friend, Marie Madaio. She is also predeceased by a son, Glenn Belanger who died in 1955.
Trudy worked at the Sykes Company of Worcester for 21 years as a manager and spent most of her retirement helping out in the many areas at the Worcester Senior Center. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by many.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 1st at 12 Noon in Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St.
