Mr. Eric J. Cyr, of Taunton, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 25. He was the beloved husband of Kelly A. (Martin) Cyr. He was born 32 years ago in Taunton, the son of Richard M. Cyr and Susan (Trucchi) Cyr. He was educated in Raynham and resided there for most of his life. He was employed in auto parts sales. Eric was a former member of the Portuguese-American Civic Club. An avid Boston Red Sox and Boston Celtics fan, he also loved fishing and visiting the Cape Cod Canal. He was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Raynham.
In addition to his wife and parents, of Taunton, he leaves: his stepmother, Karin A. Cyr of Taunton; 1 brother: Richard J. Cyr and his wife, Erin of Carver; 2 nieces: Madison and Lillian Cyr of Carver, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be celebrated in St. Ann’s Church, Raynham, on Friday, January 31 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive visitors at the Church prior to the Mass, Friday, from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. Interment will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home of Taunton.
