Warren E. “Bud” Saxton Sr. age 91 of Salem, NH, died Saturday at Salemhaven Nursing Home.
He was born in Cleveland, OH, where he grew up and was educated. He was a resident of Salem for the past 46 years.
Bud was a retired machine operator for Malden Mills. He was a US Navy veteran, serving during World War II. He was a life member of the VFW Post 8546 in Salem, and the American Legion Post 63 in Salem. He enjoyed bowling, traveling to Ohio, and Dancing or as Bud would put it “Cutting up the Rug”.
He was predeceased by his wife Jean (Vandemark) Saxton

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 28th from 4-7 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 29th at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
