Obituary

Doris A. (LeBlanc) Boucher 81 of Peabody, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Phillips Manor following a long illness.

Born and raised in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Dorilda (Deschamps) LeBlanc. For many years Doris was employed by GTE Sylvania in Salem. She was an active member of Ste. Anne Parish of Salem and together with her sister, volunteered for many of the parish fund raisers as well as volunteering for the Salem Council on Aging.

Doris was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and aunt to her large extended family. A long time member of the Salem Golden Tones. She loved music and prior to her illness, all types of dancing. She will be missed by many.

She is survived by a daughter, Denise I. McEvoy and her husband Keith, Sr. of Peabody, a son, Michael J. Labrecque and his wife Theresa of Salem, two grandchildren, Adam Bettencourt and Cameron Labrecque, a brother, Arthur ‘Hawk’ LeBlanc of Danvers, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Camille Labrecque, her brothers, Henry, Rene, Albert & Gerard LeBlanc, her sisters, Cecile Letarte, Jeannette Erwin, Rita Sewards, Grace Kapnis and Bertha Morin.

Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral mass on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Ste. Anne Church, 290 Jefferson Ave., Salem at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be private. There will be no visiting hours.
