Barbara Richard, age 51 of Medford, died Saturday at home after a lengthy illness.
Barbara was born and raised in Cambridge where she attended Cambridge Latin High School. She would later move to Somerville and most recently Medford for the past 8 years.
Barbara attended classes at Bunker Hill Comm. College until 1998 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Barbara worked as a cost coordinator for M.W. Carr picture framing of Somerville for over 13 years. For the last 1 1/2 she was with the City of Cambridge as a desk top publisher.
Barbara is survived by herdaughter Michelle Marie Hamilton and her husband Allan of Medford, son Steven Michael Richard of Somerville. Grandmother of David, Allan & Brian Hamilton. Her mother Marie (White) Cullen of Medford, and late father Robert E. Cullen, Sr. Sister of Margaret Arslanian, Robert E. Cullen, Jr.both of Medford, and the late Maria Elena Asaro, and Kathleen Cullen. Also survived by many loving nieces & nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD, Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. James Church, 779 Fellsway, Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
