Murphy, Thomas M. of Duxbury, passed away on January 22, 2014 at the age of 68. Beloved husband of Mary B. Murphy. Loving father of Sean Murphy of Boston, Donal Murphy of Quincy, Neal Murphy and his wife Julia of Duxbury and Aileen Langlois and her husband Philip of Plymouth. Loving grandfather of Ella and Meghan. Dear brother of Mary Westberg of Middleboro, Pam Bonomi of Kingston, Susan Donahue of Hanson, Jeanne Crockett of Plympton and Paul Murphy of Kingston. Son of the late Francis and Frances (Bonnevie) Murphy. Thomas worked for Boston Edison as a Nuclear Plant Operator. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era. Thomas was an avid outdoor sportsman and a motorcycle enthusiast.
Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St., Rte. 139 in Marshfield. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, January 27 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church, 601 Tremont St. in Duxbury at 10:00 a.m.
Interment in Mayflower Cemetery.
