Brinker, Marianne Gibbs Layton of Wellesley died peacefully in December 16, 2013. She was born in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Marianne S.G. Layton and L. Lee Layton Jr.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Marianne M. Brinker, Ellen L. Brinker, and Madelyn C.B. Sturgeon and her husband, Stephen; 3 grandchildren, a sister, Penelope R.L.F. Henrickson, a brother, Alfred W.G. Layton and his wife, Carol, two nieces, and a nephew. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Morrison W. Brinker.
A memorial service is being planned for the spring. Burial will be at a later date in Colorado.
