Joan M. Marciello, 81 of Revere, died Monday after a brief illness in Revere, MA.
Born in Medford, she lived in Revere for the past 20 years and was formerly of Malden. Joan was the daughter of the late Mary (LoCicero) and Vincent Sansone.
She was a Supervisor at St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance in Boston for 25 years and retired 15 years ago.
Beloved wife of the late Richard Marciello. Devoted mother of Karen Cataldo of Revere, Cheryl Spartichino and her husband William of Malden. Loving grandmother of Michael Ruocco, Ashley and Brittany Cataldo, Amanda and Richard Spartichino. Loving great grandmother of Vincent and Gabriella Spartichino, and Robert Ruocco. Also survived by her sister Marilyn "Lynne" Sullivan of Medford.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 670 Washington St., Revere, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
