Pauline Swift Christmas, 77, of Tifton, formerly of Albany, died Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2014, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Lottie Clodfelter will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date.
Mrs. Christmas was born on October 29, 1936 in Miami, Florida and was the daughter of Benjamin Swift Sr. and Daisy Vaughn Kimes, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Nathan Christmas Sr.; one son, William Nathan Christmas Jr.; one brother, Benjamin Swift Jr.; and her step-father, Calvin Kimes. She was retired and had lived in Tifton for the last two months, moving here from Albany.
Mrs. Christmas is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Carolyn Christmas of Albany; one daughter, Merry Christmas Johnson of Tifton; one sister-in-law, Margie Christmas of Macclenny, Florida; one brother and sister-in-law, William and Marylou Swift of Pensacola, Florida; one sister and brother-in-law, Rev. Lottie and D. L. Clodfelter of Miami, Florida; five grandchildren, Gary Christmas, Jessica Christmas, Adam Christmas, Ashley Daniel and Megan Christmas Fennell; and eight great-grandchildren, Sunny Christmas, A. J. Christmas and Stormy Christmas, Olivia Daniel, Bryceon Fennell, Mabree Fennell, Shelby Christmas and Kellie Stewart.
