Priscilla Ann Marshall of Natick, MA died peacefully January 15, 2014 at the age 77.
Priscilla was born in 1936 in Melrose, MA the middle daughter of Ebba Theresa (Gustafson) and Kenneth Stuart Marshall.
She later moved to Reading and Hingham. Priscilla attended public schools and Westbrook Junior College. Initially she worked at the Hingham Institution for Savings where she attracted many customers.
She enlisted and served two years in the US Navy and subsequently worked in Boston for the FBI Strike Force. She left the workforce to care for Ebba until her passing in 1986.
Priscilla suffered many mini strokes during her midlife until major strokes in her early 50’s sent her to hospital, rehab and Riverbend Convalescent Center which she has called home for twenty-three years.
She loved poetry, writing many selections herself, including one about her mother which won national attention at a Poets conference in FL. Priscilla loved music and would sing most any song you could play from her younger years.
She was predeceased by her mother Ebba and father Kenneth. She leaves her sister Cynthia Marshall Salmon and husband Bard Salmon of Groton and their family Cheri Gordon and Doug Salmon; and sister Elizabeth Daulin Carlson-Inglis of Venice, FL and her family Lin Melchin and Debbie Wood.
A private memorial service will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Riverbend Convalescent Center, 34 Lincoln Street, South Natick, MA 01760 c/o Riverbend Residence Fund.
