McGONAGLE, Kenneth “Buddy” 80, of South Boston, Dedham, and Naples, passed away on Thursday, January 16th, 2014 in Naples FL. Husband of Catherine (McEachern), father of Jeffrey and his wife Rachel, Scott and his wife Katie, daughter Dawn and Mark Crosby, daughter-in-law Laura, proud grandfather of Annie, Christopher, Madison, and Patrick. Preceded in death by his sons Kenneth and Christopher. Brother of Marie Marshman, Kathy Rae and Jan Aughe. Brother-in-law of Mary Quigley and Ruthann Quigg, and 'Uncle Buddy' to his many nieces and nephews.
He will be missed by his many great friends and fellow Wildcats. Buddy was born on June 18th, 1933, raised in South Boston, served in the Korean War, 43 years with the Boston Edison, and split his time between his home in Dedham and Naples.
Funeral from the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Friday, January 24 at 8 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary Church, Dedham at 9 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visiting hours Thursday, January 23 from 4-8 pm. Interment Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
