New Bedford – Nancy Medeiros-Hallett, age 69 of New Bedford, died peacefully on Thursday January 16, 2014 at Kindred Nursing & Rehab Center - Hallmark. She was born in New Bedford, the daughter of Alice (Simmons) and Frank Medeiros, lived all of her life in this area and worked as Secretary at Morse Cutting Tools for many years. In her leisure time, Mrs. Hallett enjoyed to knit.
Her family includes her brother, David Medeiros, and his wife, Sharon, of Fairhaven; an aunt, Olivia Cordeiro of Dartmouth as well as 2 nephews, 1 niece and several great nieces and great nephews.
There will be visiting hours held in the funeral home on Sunday evening from 5 – 8 P.M. with a Religious Service to begin, promptly, at 5:30 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Cremation is to follow. Arrangements are placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
