Obituary

WEBSTER – Irene L. (Belleville) Pryga, 72, of 26 Normandy Avenue, died Tuesday, October 12, in Hubbard Regional Hospital after a long illnesss.

She leaves her devoted husband and constant companion of 51 years, Andrew A. “Andy” Pryga; a son and daughter-in-law, Alan D. and Beverly J. Pryga of Dudley; a daughter and son-in-law, Andrea J. and Albert J. Peck of North Grosvenordale, CT; her mother, Dorothy (Drapeau) Belleville of Webster; a brother, Donald Belleville of Plano, TX; 4 grandchildren, Timothy, Kimberly, Daniel and Kyle; and nieces and nephews. A sister, Jean Belleville, predeceased her.

She was born in Uxbridge, daughter of the late George Belleville, and graduated from Uxbridge High School. She lived here most of her life.

Mrs. Pryga was the lead shipping clerk at Cranston Print Works Company for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1991 due to illness. She was a member of Saint Louis Church, and was a candlepin bowler in leagues for many years. Above all, she loved her grandchildren.

The funeral will be held Saturday, October 16, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home,340 School Street, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will be from 8:15 to 9:15 Saturday morning at the funeral home.
