Juanita (Alder) Pershing, 89, of Anderson died January 15, 2014 at Edgewater Woods after an extended illness.
She was born April 7, 1924 to Cass and Sunshine (Rosalie (Dye) Alder.
She was a homemaker and member of Ladies Moose and Ladies Shrine.
She is survived by her sons, Keith (Barbara) Pershing of Anderson; Perry J. (Janice) Pershing of Muncie; sister-in-law, Marguerita Alder of Anderson; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James E. Pershing Nov. 2, 2007; her siblings and their spouses, Doris & Lawrence Schoettmer; Jim and Dottie Alder, J.D. Alder; Wilma & Gene Burg; sister-in-law, Dottie Alder and her grandson, James Russell Pershing
Service will be held at 2 PM on Monday, January 20, 2014 with family members sharing. Visitation will be Sunday, January 19 from 2-6 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service.
Burial will be in East Maplewood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Moose Lodge Children's Fund.
