Moultonboro-----Patricia Guay Caron, 89, of Manchester and Moultonboro, N.H., died at the Concord Hospital on January 15, 2014 of natural causes.
Patricia was born May 28, 1924 in Manchester, the daughter of the late Arthur J. and Bertha (Knight) Guay.
Patricia was educated in Manchester, graduating from Central High School and Hesser Business College. She graduated from the Salem Hospital School of Nursing as a RN in 1946 as a Cadet Nurse in preparation for the U.S. Army Nurse Corps of World War II.
She worked at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester for thirty years before moving to Moultonboro in 1978. She was night coordinator at the Laconia State School for ten years, after which she continued as a RN at the Belknap County Nursing Home and later as a Home Care RN until her retirement in December, 2009.
Patricia is survived by three daughters; Kathleen Perkins, Sharon-Sue Perkins and Patricia Anne Perkins and twin sons, John L. and Roger A. Caron, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Memorial calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 19, 2014 from 11:00AM-1:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia. A Time of Sharing will begin during the calling hours beginning at Noon also at the Funeral Home.
A Memorial Service will be held in May at the Trinity Episcopal Church of Meredith.
Mrs. Caron will be interred in the family cemetery, East Washington Cemetery, Washington, N.H. in May following the service.
