Mabel (Bryant) McClure, 96, passed away January 5, 2014 at Heart Song Memory Care. She was born in Morgan Co. Kentucky on October 9, 1917 to William Millard Bryant and Rosa (Little) Bryant. She was a member of Kenwood Heights Christian Church which she loved and where she was active for many years, she retired from Phillip Morris Tobacco Co. and worked at the Speed Museum until well into her 90’s. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Turner and a son Billy Bob Turner, sisters, Eunice Bryant Blevins, Lexie Bryant Taylor, Katherine Bryant Goodwin; brothers, Ireland Bryant and Warren Bryant. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey McClure and sister Elizabeth Bryant Vassetti and grandchildren Destinee and Chance McClure; and special nephew, Dr. Harold Blevins and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held on January 24, 2014 at 11 A.M. at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Highway with visitation starting at 10 A.M. at the funeral home.
