John A. Brown, age 50, passed away January 14, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. John passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the loving husband of Leomena M. Freitas-Brown and son of Rochelle (Berthiaume) Lemere and the late Elliot Brown, also the stepson of Norman Lemere. John was a retired-passionate 20 year Navy Veteran.
John was the loving father of Amber Marcoux of FL, Bianca and Ian Brown of RI and step-father of Melissa Aguiar of Fall River; brother of Robert and Barry Brown of RI. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on FRIDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial St. John of God Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI. Calling hours on THURSDAY from 4-7 P.M.
