Manchester– Janet L. Bourgeois, 67, died January 13, 2013 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack following a lengthy illness.
She was born in Manchester on August 2, 1946 the daughter of Francis and Rose (Bourque) Boudreau and had been a lifelong resident of Manchester.
In her early years she had worked for AT&T.
She enjoyed gardening, tending to her koi pond, which she built, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Family members include her husband of 44 years, Richard B. Bourgeois of Manchester, two sons; Christian A. Bourgeois and his wife, Karen of Nanuet, NY, Daniel R. Bourgeois and his wife, Susan of Boscawen, three grandchildren; Megan, Joseph and Maisy, four sisters; Irene Boudreau of Spruce Pine, NC., Susan Connors and her husband, Joe of Manchester, Louise Boudreau of Mocksville, NC., Rose Ann Boudreau and her husband, Jim Hawkes of Manchester, three brothers; Maurice Boudreau and his wife, Sharon of Merrimack, Leo Boudreau and his wife, Anne, and Paul Boudreau, all of Manchester, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A prayer service will follow at 4 PM in the funeral home.
