Webster
Ricky M. Martin, 67, passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at UMass. Medical Center in Worcester. He leaves his wife of 24 years, Lois M. (Gevry) Martin, a daughter, Brittany Martin and a son; Derek J. Martin and his wife Erica L. Martin, all of Webster, 1 grandchild, 2 great grandchildren, a brother, Tommy Martin of Nebraska, and nieces and nephews. Ricky was predeceased by a son Lance D. Martin who died in 1987 and a grand-daughter, Amanda who died in 2007, he was also predeceased by a sister, Glinda MacDonald.
He was born in Savannah, Georgia a son to Audrey M. and Mary Evelyn (Bragg) Martin and has lived in Webster for many years. Ricky was also served as a Sgt. In the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era.
Ricky was a bar manager at several area restaurants and clubs including the former Ray Hade’s, Back Door Pub in Webster, The former Ax Mill Tavern in Douglas and The Laurel House in Dayville, Ct., he currently was working part time for the Kosciusko Society (Bush Hall) in Webster.
He was a sports fanatic and enjoyed watching the Celtics and Red Sox, also liked fishing and Sebago Lake, with his family and friends. He also enjoyed golf and golf tournaments and going to Florida and Las Vegas, keno, scratch tickets and having a ‘Bud’. Most of all ,Ricky was a compassionate person and loved his daughter.
He will be missed by many.

A Memorial Mass for Ricky will be Monday, January 20,2014 at 10:30 AM in St. Louis Church, 16 Lake St.
