Manchester– Loretta Bessey, 63, died January 8, 2014 at Ridgewood Center following a brief illness.
She was born in Waterville, ME. on October 27, 1950 the daughter of Kenneth and Anna (Turner)Worthen.
In her early years she was a LNA and also worked at Bird Bath Laundromat.
She was predeceased by one son, Kenneth Bessey on March 20, 2009.
Family members include two sons, Chad E. Bessey of Manchester, Harry M. Bessey Jr. of NH, several grandchildren, four sisters, Laura Meter of Manchester, Rebecca Noble of ME., Linda Worthen, Rosie Worthen, both of Manchester, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial reception will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St. A prayer service will take place at 7:30 PM during the reception.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
