Costello, Edward P. “Eddie” of Kingston, passed away January 4, 2014 at age 71. Eddie was raised in Brookline and son of the late John and Helen (Rogers) Costello. Beloved father of Greg Costello and his wife Jennifer and grandfather to Colby, Molly, and Collin Costello.
Edward is survived by his two sisters Helen Pino of Falmouth and his twin Mary O’Mera of Bellingham.
He was preceded by his parents named above along with his son Edward Jr., brother John Jr. “Jack” and sister Margaret Powers.
Eddie was a retired heavy equipment operator for I.U.O.E. Local 4.
Eddie was a lifelong boater and spent many days on his various boats. His grandchildren loved hearing Papa’s stories of his many cars and fishing tales even though they often ended without any fish. Eddie doted on his dog Abby and loved her more than life itself.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean Street, Marshfield MA. Contributions in Edwards memory may be made to the American Heart Association 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA. 01701.
