Belmont-----Barbara Malette, 76, of 352 Horne Road died at the Lakes Region General Hospital on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.
Mrs. Malette was born February 26,1937, the daughter of Norman and Charlotte (Dowell) Harte and had been a resident of the Lakes Region for over forty years. She was a LPN for thirty-two years and had been employed at the Lakes Region General Hospital Emergency Room and at Interim HealthCare in Manchester.
Mrs. Malette was an avid reader and loved sewing. She never forgot birthdays and was always there for everyone.
Survivors include a son, Robert Malette, of Laconia; two daughters, Deborah Sanville of Laconia and Tamorah Asvaraksh of Amherst; twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four brothers, Bernard Harte, Bruce Harte, Doni Harte and Lee Harte and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Malette was predeceased by her husband, Thaddeus “Buck” J. Malette, in 1999, by two sons, Gary Malette in 2008 and Craig Malette in 1957 and by many brothers and sisters.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 4:00-7:00PM in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, N.H.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 10:00AM at the Gilford Community Church, 19 Potter Hill Road, Gilford, N.H. Rev. Michael Graham, Pastor of the Church, will officiate..
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.
