Eleanor F. (Mahoney) Sullivan of Dedham, formerly of Wellesley, died October 10, 2004 at the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Needham. She was 98. Mrs. Sullivan was born in Boston and was the daughter of the late John and Ida Mahoney. She was a longtime Wellesley resident before moving to Dedham where she lived for several years. She worked as a secretary for 15 years at the law firm of Nutter, Fish, and McClennen.
Mrs. Sullivan was the beloved wife of the late William A. Sullivan.She is survived by her children, William A. Sullivan and his wife Patricia of Dover, Robert L. Sullivan and his wife Kathleen of Stoughton, Richard F. Sullivan and his wife Janet M. Kelly of Cambridge, Lawrence E. Sullivan of San Jose, CA, and Gerald L. Sullivan and his wife Martha of Jamaica Plain. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Funeral will be held from the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St., Wellesley, on Wed. at 9:30am. Funeral mass in St. Paul Church, Wellesley, at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Visitation Wed. morning prior to mass 8:30-9:30am. Interment Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline.
