Obituary

Worcester – Lucille B. (Lange) Gilman, 67, of Worcester, died on Saturday, January 4th peacefully at home

Lucille is survived by her two daughters, Michelle Holmes and her husband Leslie of East Brookfield and Pamela Ulcena and her husband Roland of Florida; a son, Mark Gilman and his wife Kamoltip of Florida; a brother, Gerard Lange of Rutland; 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Rodolphe and Lucienne (Charland) Lange and is predeceased by three sisters, Alma Tremblay, Alice Lange and Therese Lange as well as a brother, Rev. Raymond Lange.

Lucille worked for UMass Medical School as an Educational Coordinator for 23 years before retiring in 2010. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and reading books. Lucille relished her trips to both Cape Cod and Maine with her family.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, January 9th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church 1222 Main St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Wednesday, January 8th from 4 to 7 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Lucille may be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church “Family Center Campaign) 1222 Main Street Worcester, MA 01603.
