Doris (Borghi) Palmeri, 93, of Haverhill, formerly of New Bedford, died October 9, 2004 at Hannah Duston Nursing Home.
She was the wife of the late Nicholas Palmeri.
Born in Rochester, daughter of the late Carlo and Rosa (Bergamini) Borghi, she lived in Wareham for many years before moving to New Bedford in 1944.
Mrs. Palmeri was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
She was formerly employed by Giusti Bakery for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include her son, Robert Palmeri, and his wife Marie, of Haverhill, MA; 2 grandchildren, Gerard Palmeri of San Francisco, CA and Anne-Marie Fontaine, and her husband Philip, of Merrimac, MA; and 3 great-grandchildren, David Fontaine, Joshua Fontaine and Robert Fontaine.
She was the sister of the late Eleanor Tarini and Mary Coucci.
