Matthew T. Sergio (50) of Taunton formerly of Brockton died Dec. 27th in his home. He was the husband of Lori (Medeiros) Sergio.
He was born in Stoughton son of Matthew and Pamela (Beals) Sergio both of Lakeville.
Matthew worked with his dad at "Matthew's Colony Corner" Restaurant downstairs at the Brockton YMCA for many years. He loved to golf and was a former member of the Brockton Country Club, also enjoyed traveling to Prince Edward Island with family.
In addition to his parents and wife he is survived by 2 daughters Tara and Danielle Sergio both of Brockton, a son Thomas Sergio of Taunton, 7 Grandchildren, a brother Kristoffer Sergio of Lakeville, 2 sisters Debbie Barry and husband John of Brockton, Kim Sergio of Wareham, also brother of the late Karin Dunlevy, many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
Following Cremation a Time of Fellowship and Remembrance will be celebrated March 22nd at the Club National 170 Court Street Brockton from 1-4 pm.
