OXFORD – Irene A. (Cousineau) Dufresne, 86, died Sunday, October 10 in Sandalwood Nursing Home.
Her husband Everett J. Dufresne died in 1971. She leaves five sons Richard Dufresne of Worcester, Robert Dufresne of Jacksonville, NC, Raymond Dufresne of Worcester, Paul Dufresne of Oxford and Gary Dufresne of Las Vegas, NV; a daughter Joan Augusto of Las Vegas, NV; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester daughter of Louis and Jenny (Duhamel) Cousineau.
Mrs. Dufresne was an avid bingo player.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 13 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St., Worcester with a mass at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling Hours are Tuesday, October 12 from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
