Whitinsville – Doris M. (Thibeault) Blondin, 79, of Douglas/Whitinsville died on Wednesday, January 1st in St. Camillus Health Center.
Mrs. Blondin has been married to Paul E. Blondin for the past 63 years and is also survived by her two sons, David Blondin and his wife Jacqueline of West Boylston and John Blondin and his wife Cynthia of Douglas; a daughter, Linda Brown of Douglas; a brother, Roland Thibeault of Worcester; a sister Joan Smith of Florida; 4 grandchildren; a great granddaughter and many nephews and nieces. Doris was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Ferdinand and Yvonne (Martel) Thibeault.
She was a member of St. Denis Church in Douglas, where she also belonged to the Catholic Women’s Council. Doris was a member of the Lily Society at Tower Hill Botanical Gardens in Boylston and enjoyed spending time with close friends at the Sutton Senior Center. Doris spent many years standing against the Webster/Douglas landfill. She loved her family and sharing in their interest.
The funeral will be held at 11 AM in St Denis Church 23 Manchaug Street, Douglas. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are on Sunday, January 5th from 2 to 4 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Memorial Contributions in memory of Doris may be made to the St. Camillus Health Center 447 Hill St. Whitinsville, MA 01588.
