Obituary

Clifford D. Sherman passed away on December 31, 2013 joining his beloved wife of 52 years, Barbara Sherman, who passed in 2004. Born on December 15, 1932 to his parents, Everett and Lottie Sherman. Cliff was the last surviving child, his siblings having predeceased him: Everett, Arnold, Ralph, Harold, Eldon, Jackie, and his sister Jessie Hinckley. Cliff is survived by his daughter, Cynthia Enos and her husband, Martin, of Plymouth, MA and their three children, Seth of Everett, WA; Ilea of Bangor, ME; and Zachary of Muncie, IN. He is also survived by his daughter, Sandra Mitchell and her husband, Daniel, of Tuftonboro, NH, their two daughters, Amanda of Ossipee, NH and Allison of Palm Bay, FL, and their grandson, Tyler. Cliff is also survived by his sister-in-law, Marjorie Ruprecht, of Kingston, MA. At the age of 17 Cliff was a combat veteran of the Korean War where he served two tours of duty. While in country he suffered two combat wounds and was awarded five bronze stars for valor. Cliff was a master welder and metal fabricator for D.S. Kennedy & Co. in Cohasset, MA and Burtman Iron Works in Hyde Park, MA. A wake will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court Street, North Plymouth, MA. A brief presentation by family members will be given at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Clifford Sherman to the Compassionate Care ALS, 752 W. Falmouth Highway, Falmouth, MA 02540.
